So whenever I try to open the nordvpn app, it just shows the logo for a few seconds then disappears. It doesn’t show in the application tray either. I’ve tried reinstalling, restarting my PC, and my windows is updated to the latest version. Are there any fixes?
Open the NordVPN app location by right clicking the icon and select open file location, find the latest version folder, open it and find Diagnostics.exe, open that and select Reset App.
The other way to reach that, open Start menu, type:
NordVPN Diagnostics

I have also tried almost everything, and have been waiting for the support in thair chat for 4 hours now - i belive they are closed 
But also havent found a solution to the problem. Been working fine for a year.
Starting yesterday I could no longer log into my NordVPN app on 2 desktop PCs. Was getting an authentication error message. Deleted and reinstalled NordVPN completely on one PC with no change.
Fired up a chat session and disconnected after 1 hour of waiting. Deleted NordVPN on both PCs and currently using a free 30-day trial of ExpressVPN.
Weird thing is that I can access NordVPN via the app on my phone (Android), just not on my PCs. Based on what I’ve been reading here, this is clearly a problem with NordVPN. If they don’t acknowledge this, I have no problems switching over to ExpressVPN.
Had an update recently, then mine started doing exactly the same, logo pops up then dissapears.
I got mine working by doing this: (Windows)
- Press the start button
- On the right scroll through programs down to Nord
- Mine had a folder named NordSec
- inside that folder is a list click NordVPN Diagnostics
- Once this opens click the Reset App button.
- Sign into your Nord VPN
This fixed mine hopefully helps others.
