Netflix opens but won't load shows

Good morning,

I have an Asus router with Nord VPN installed on it. My Roku has an Ethernet cable plugged into the back of the router. We’re getting 18 Mbps out of the Asus router. Most everything from the Roku works fine including Prime, but I have a recurring problem with Netflix.

Netflix might work well for several months, and then this happens: Netflix will load from the Roku and I can peruse different shows that are available and click on them, But then a little arrow just spins around and around in a circle forever and the program never loads.

I’ve tried the fixes like unplugging the router, unplugging the Roku, uninstalling Netflix and reinstalling it, but those don’t seem to solve the problem.

A couple of times I’ve gotten Netflix to work again, but only after I’ve tried a number of different fixes, and so I can’t determine what the magic combination was.

Nord VPN is great and we use it throughout the rest of the house and love it.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help. Tim

Since I’m not using Roku, there’s not much I can suggest. If the listed steps don’t work, reach out to Nord’s customer support
