This started happening yesterday. 2 days ago it was completely fine. Now, instead of it automatically bringing me to CA’s homepage, it gives me an error “Unable to connect to proxy server”. UK and virtually every other VPN seems to work still.
This seems to be restricted to Chrome as it works with Firefox.
Anyone have any ideas?
I’m having problems too, no matter where I go be it US, CA and so on it just shows me the UK one or says “can not connect to server”.
This has been happening to me too except it wont work on either firefox or chrome, and I can’t access the US VPN either. Other websites work though.
I’m in the US and this kept happening. I tried different browsers and a bunch of other methods, but it just wouldn’t work. It’s working right now, so knock on wood, I guess.
Are you located in the UK? I used to have the same problem but for the US Netflix. I just wanted Canada but I couldn’t ever get anything other than my default US, so I tried some other VPN services and at some point I went back to Canada, signed out and back in, and it worked again.
Do you share accounts? I remember after I had given my acc info to a 3rd person to use, the problem started occurring.
Edit: You should try using ZenMate, it does the same service but it seems to be more reliable overall. It just doesn’t have a Canada option.
Yeah it works again now.
Yeah I’m located in the UK and there’s one other person on my account but she never uses it. I’ll try ZenMate while Hola isn’t working for me.
