Looking for the best value to money cloud service to host VPN server

Hi all,

I am new to cloud services. I recently check up AWS free tier and found out that it is limited to 15 GB of traffic monthly. Monthly 15 GB is not enough for me. Therefore, please suggest me the best value to money cloud service to host VPN server in term of getting more bandwidth or traffic. And it would be better it has the data center in Asia region to reduce the latency since it will be used from one of the Asia countries. Thank you in advance.

Buyvm Starts at 2$ a month with unlimited traffic and hetzner starts at 3€ a month with 20tb

Provided you’re happy with AWS, Lightsail is probably what you want - it’s flat-priced and adjacent to places like DigitalOcean/Vultr/Linode/Hetzner Cloud (granted won’t be free-tier outside of first month free). Pricing is decent, and regions include various Asian regions, though Asia-Pacific specifically sees lower bandwidth allowances. That said, these are still far higher than 15GB :slight_smile:

it really depends on the kind of workloads you will be running remembers servers on AWS can auto scale based on the load it receives. you can check AZURE and GCP or better still alicloud

Thank you for your answer. I think the question should be updated. To be honest, I am looking for the cloud service that is in Asia region because I am currently using in from one of the Asian countries and to reduce the latency of the network.

I bought 1 BuyVM instance and used it. After one week of use, I tried to buy more instance from BuyVM. It shows not available anymore. Then I tried Hetzner and it does not support my payment method. I would like to know if you know other services like BuyVM or Hetzner that provide a lot of bandwidth and traffic?

Had the same with buyvm but they restock only like once a month. I think ovh offers unlimited too.

OVH offers unmetered but the starter is just 250 Mbps of bandwidth
