Lifehacker is running a deal for a lifetime subscription for $20 (normally $80). That’s a kick-ass deal, right? Or am I missing something?
I currently use the free AdGuard browser extensions everywhere (Safari, Chrome, Mac and Windows) and have no complaints. But this would be for the system-wide app that seems to provide more thorough protection, right? (Honestly, I find the AdGuard product differentiation a bit confusing.)
OP here. Just dropped the $25 for the lifetime family plan (9 devices instead of 3… for just $5 more!). Got my license and installed. It works! It’s legit!
Oh, this deal does sound tempting! Personally, I rely on Logii Browser for its robust features like multi-account security and anti-detect protection. However, I haven’t come across a lifetime deal for it yet. If anyone knows of a similar browser or a lifetime deal for Logii, I’d love to hear about it too.
Is it possible to switch licenses from a device to another, or once registered on one it is forever assigned? I.e. 9 devices in total or 9 devices per time?
FYI I came here from googling adguard family plan. Comments here are saying stacksocial had plans at $16 previously. Today on 9/14/24 I get an email from stacksocial about adguard famly plan is $18.97 and its the ‘lowest price ever’. So point being, stacksocial lies about when a product is their ‘lowest price ever’ so watch out for that gimmick.
I just paid the $80 for lifetime about a month ago - other than some compatibility issues with Sophos Home Premium (which I’m currently testing with Sophos tech support), it’s a great purchase - if you can actually get it legit for $20, go for it.
I have the premium app for iOS but I was thinking to buy a license to use adguard on mac and windows. (and in a future on android). It is worth in pc? I use it all the time on iOs for wide-system adblocker but in pc we have adblock/ublock and the ads on apps are inexistent
