Just to let you know

After almost 3 hours, trying to resolve the problem with split tunnelling. I was told by Nordvpn staff this is a dead feature, and it doesn’t work with Windows.

Works for me so far.

It works for me. Win11.

Brave, Comodo Dragon and Epic Privacy added to split tunneling show my real IP. Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi, Edge show the IP of the VPN server.

SoundSwitch did not want to update on VPN. I wrote to developers and they replied that this is how it is supposed to be and it never updated on VPN. After adding to split tunneling it updates without any problem.

Magic

Yep… NordVPN split-tunneling is total garbage. I also have to OpenVPN for work VPNs. I want to have those connections bypass the NordVPN. NOPE!!! Even when split-tunneling is on and the OpenVPN-GUI is listed it still goes through the VPN.

I also can’t get NordVPN to stop messing with the routing table. I’d also be happy just placing a persistent route for the OpenVPN servers that I have to reach. NOPE!!! when Nord connects it screws big time with things in the routing table other than just adding a lower metric default route.

Nord… how the heck are you rated #1 all the time?? It certainly can’t be based on reviews of sophisticated users or anybody that needs more than just click an on/off button.

total garbage. I’ll be looking for an alternate solution that doesn’t try to metastisize itself with the entire rest of my operating system/browser.

Also, you post here and you get a bunch of fan boys telling you that you’re wrong

Split tunnelling is working just fine for me in the Chrome and Firefox extensions on Windows.

Not possible due Windows limitations.just to let you know that was confirmed.

Comodo dragon is a different story. Try brave and steam with split tunnel and you will see that not working

what version are you on?

Then why is it enabled on mine then?

As I mentioned before - Brave is added to split tunnelling and works without any problems - the screen on the right is just from Brave.

As for Steam, seeing how many processes it has firing off at the same time, it’s possible that you haven’t added all of its components that use network interfaces to split tunneling. Steam doesn’t show the IP, then I won’t even bother to check. All the applications I have added run without any problem bypassing the active VPN connection

I have everything always updated to the latest version. Practically every soft in my rig.

I checked a second ago and still everything works as it should and split tunneling works.

You can enable but it won’t do split tunnels
