I am using The Chrome ext. and this morning when I got up none of the U.S servers could get a proxy connection but any other country I tried had no issues. I asked about it in the PIA chat she just said she would look into it so is it just me?

Yes. They seem to be doing some sort of migration (just an educated guess). I noticed that all the US region names changed slightly from how they were named before. I just switched from the 3.2 version to the 4.0 version today trying to resolve these issues. I suggest everyone open support tickets with PIA to make them more aware and prioritize this issue.
I use the APP and nothing is connecting no servers anywhere.

Yep. Turning it on disables all network connectivity. This applies to both the Chrome and Firefox versions of the plugin. I’ve uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled the plugin - all to no avail.
Really getting annoyed at the issues with PIA lately. They’re becoming apropos to their name - a pain in the ass.
having issue here too with the app esp with high ping, what I found was causing it for me is multihop setting, had to swith to auto or turn it off completely, the usa shadowsocks are not working. Wireguard seems to work fine but pings are still high
Same here, using Firefox. I can connect to Luxembourg and Singapore though, no US.

Major flooding might be the cause. Just speculating right now.
My firefox extension is completely dead right now but if I use the full windows client it works fine.
PIA is back and working
Firefox extension works for me as long as the region is set to automatic. Some Canada/US regions are a bit hit&miss still.
I am still having the same issue on brave and chrome

Finally fixed it took three days I don’t know why it took so long. I would think it would only be a matter of configuring some routing tables.
I was wrong it is still down just the Washinton servers are working
