Introducing PureVPN’s new Apple TV app

Exciting news! You can now download PureVPN’s Apple TV app directly from the App Store.

This opens up a world of streaming options for Apple TV users, granting them access to streaming services from over 88+ locations.

The best part? There’s no longer a need for manual VPN setup on your Apple TV or VPN router, making the process even more seamless and user-friendly.

BBC iPlayer is very intermittent and almost always fails to play the show I select the first few times so I have to try and play the episode before, wind to the end, then click play next episode. Often that doesn’t even work.

Is there a bug fix or other workaround to this to make it more reliable?

I have tried all locations, seems only Taiwan is not working

App is not working at all. Everytime I hit connect it’s loading and does not connect

Is split tunnelling available in the app?

Well after a few updates at least its connecting except for Taiwan however it does not change anything at all. No matter what country I connect to - the streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Paramount are still showing Germany as my location. It does work on Google TV. BBC iPlayer doesn’t complain about being out of the country however it does not play anything at all and only shows an X. So far purevpn is still not working

Can’t get PureVPN to work at all on my AppleTV 4K running tvOS17. When I try to connect to any location it just defaults back to my local server - and that doesn’t connect either. There also appears to be no way to login to my account from within the App?

Can’t get this app to work on my Apple TV, no server will connect… tried logging out, reinstalling the app but to no avail

my iPhone connects immediately…anybody experiencing the same thing?

I’m sorry, but split tunneling is not available in the app.

Any update ? i’m running into the same issue here … did they get it to work for you ?

is there an update on the Taiwan server? I am on Version 2.0 something and now UK and AU servers seem to work ok however “connecting” to Taiwan does nothing and the app jumps back to the main screen. Also why do you have to manually “disconnect” first to change a server? It’s a bit annoying.

Well it be at some point or is it impossible to implement?

Hi, thank you for reaching out. We regret to inform you that the Taiwan location is no longer accessible via our services. We have forwarded your other feedback to the relevant team. Thank you!
