I know this sounds like bull but it really isn’t. If you get a soft ban then play a squad battle and watch the city sequences until the end. This will then allow you to play online again.
I tried it because I exhausted all other options and unbelievably it worked. Spread the word.
Whats a soft ban and why would you get one?
Didn’t work for me. Had to essentially wait 12 hours since the last time I did my swaps grind session.
Is the softban when you can load into a match but when someone scores you get kicked out? Because for me just playing squad battles for the swaps worked.
Just wait until the hour over after you did your first swaps game.
The Cutscenes probly did this too.
Just play 10 games gold goal then play div or sb game then your good to play again got all tokens my self not one ban simple as that you have plenty time to get all tokens
Is it so hard for EA to program a limiter where when a player reaches 13 games within 1 hour or 74 games per day, then they cannot enter a new game thereafter and a message is displayed saying “Wait x minutes to play again” with a countdown clock to indicate how much time is remaining.
I played swaps when they first came out, got soft banned for 24 hours, never even knew it was a thing as it’s the first time I return to Fifa since 19. And I haven’t a single friendly game since and not touched any of the objectives. I just play Rivals and FUT Champions now.
It’s beyond pathetic that the game gives you objectives to do that essentially ban you from the game without you understanding why and many players out there thinking it’s actually their internet cutting out or ISP issues.
This company is so fucking annoying and the developers really care about money grabbing more than ANYTHING else in the game. Maybe not them, just the way they’re instructed and forced to do things by EA.

Tried 3 WL games earlier, won them all but got the servers message so lost. No way through it for me it seems.
Why would EA even give soft bans when they make the mode golden goal? This is so stupid… the problem was created by them.
This isn’t true. The reason this “worked”, is because the soft ban time ended due to how long you spent in the game, if you spend the same time with FIFA turned off you would’ve also been unbanned.
Plus, after a few soft bans, you need to wait like 10h or more.
Didn’t work for me. But I downloaded the ps4 version of the game and i can play on that!

It’s based on your IP. Use a phone hotspot or VPN and you’ll be good to play. This won’t do anything as they literally ban your IP for a predetermined amount of time.
I’ve been softbanned tens of times but never for more than an hour. As soon as I know I have it, I just close the game and wait that duration - If anyone is having ones last >1h - try doing this in future
