Let’s assume I install NordVPN on my router and set it to my home country A.
Can I use an Amazon Fire Stick with NordVPN pointing to another country B?
Can I use a laptop with NordVPN and when needed point that to yet another country C?
Do these Fire Stick/laptop changes interfere with the router settings?
Or do I have to change to these countries on the router?
With Asus router you can do VPN fusion and have multiple destinations set up AND specify which device uses which server/destination. But you need to disconnect and then reconnect if you want to go to another country or server. I use the iPhone app to control it but I assume you can do it all on the computer app.
You will need to change the country in the router. If you also connect to a VPN in your laptop or other local client to country B, it will be a connection to VPN B over an existing connection to VPN A of the router. So, for the website you access, it will look like you are in the country A.
From the comments below I guess it’s useless to install VPN on a router, if ‘clients’ want to go to different destinations at the same time.
