Who is your internet provider? What city and state are listed when you visit https://whatismyipaddress.com?

Hulu live has problems with certain ISPs, especially satellite and cell provider options. Also, if your ISP is pulling an IP address that’s associated with a distant geographic location, you could have problems.

Something similar happened to me this week. I had to call them to reset the ISP.

tried to log into our Hulu Live on our Roku and we’re getting the above error screen. We have a valid account, obviously available in our area and we’re not using any type of VPN.

We have logged in and out and reset the account online and we’re still getting the error on the Roku’s, but it will let me access the live channels using Chrome on my computer.

We have over 300Mbps up and down on fiber. We’re using an Orbi mesh Wifi connection

does anyone know what the best solution is to fix this?

Next time go to the website, login to your account and look at authorized devices and find and delete your Roku and then log back in… that fixed most weird Hulu stuff when I still used it

That is what I had to do. They said it was a known issue and they fixed it for me

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the app? That often does the trick.

just deleted the app, rebooted the Roku, reinstalled the app, logged out and reactivated the Roku and I’m still getting the same message
