Just install the Nord app, run it, and connect. From that point on, all the other apps will be communicating over the VPN. Nord app->Disconnect, and you’re back to regular Internet.
Unless you need to set up “split tunneling,” which allows some apps to communicate over the VPN, while others get at the Internet normally, there’s nothing else you need to do.
