If you have Chrome/Firefox, you can install ZenMate VPN extension

then click on the extension icon (on the top right corner, it looks like a shield)

and change the country to Hong Kong

Then go to your Spotify account settings and change the Country to Hong Kong

You’ll have to wait depending on your timezone

For me, I have to wait till 12 PM Eastern Time or 11 AM Central Time from a day before the release

Better option is New Zealand, as it’s earlier. Also, I should clarify you only need to do this to change the country, them you don’t need to use the VPN anymore.

For some reason New Zealand doesn’t work anymore for Spotify like the country lists as Great Britain as if it thinks I’m in the UK

And it will ask you sometimes , I think maybe 1-2 weeks

its actually based on your payment method, i lived in the US for a while and paid with Malaysian card and it followed Malaysian time for music release.

it is possible if you got an account that has no spotify premium. You only need to change the country in the settings + enable the vpn then you should be good to go
