Hi I’ve always used the free hide.me online vpn portal but now it seems to stop me downloading from limetorrents.com and says there is an error

Any ideas?

Anyone know a good FREE vpn ? Ideally an online browser rather than software I have to download?

If you really want to get 100% anonymity online, I would not recommend using a free VPN. Better to use a proxy server. I buy a private proxy from Fineproxy (Buy Proxy Servers | 1000 Proxies for $89 | Free Trial). The company has a large selection of packages and, accordingly, their prices.

These are usually mutually exclusive. The price is your privacy i.e. they collect data/metrics.

And if I understood what you mean, using a “browser VPN” (in reality an unsecure proxy) just to download the .torrent files isn’t actually covering your ass. You need a proper system-wide VPN that routes all your traffic including the torrent p2p traffic.

Try /r/VPN. Seems you want a VPN just for browsing websites, not specifically for torrenting. (you can’t VPN torrent traffic with a web browser VPN)
