Hidden VPN config on my iPhone?

hello,
i think my iphone somehow got hacked or its firmware is hacked. So many things happened that led me to that belief but that needs a seerate thread, so ill focus on this:

On the Settings > General > VPN section, i remember that if you dont have a vpn setup it says: configure a vpn connection (or something like that) however for me it says “VPN not connected”

I dont have any VPN installed so i was wondering if someone could help me figure out the root of the problem?

if the VPN is not connected, then theres no issue. Hacks on iphones are very rare, they are notorious for being secure. unless you installed something and allowed it.

Getting a lot of these lately. NB4 someone asks if you have monoxide detectors working.
