I was permanently banned due to an unathorized Instagram account that connected to my Facebook account. This happened on the 3th of August this year and I was so upset with Meta buying Meta verified just to get in contact with them which did not help at all!!! I urge everyone to not buy it and to unsubscribe as it’s useless.
What helped me was the EU Form. I have in total sent them 6 or 7 mails which I only got replied on 1 that I was rejected. This morning I thought it’s Monday morning let’s try to send it one more time and I got a reply within 1 hour with a mail to reset my password and go through recent changes etc.
I used Planet VPN with connection in Paris(France) and in my message to Meta I mentioned that I will make a lawsuit especially as I could not even download my data information which is a breach against GDPR.
EDIT - I also just noticed the hackers had run ads for $4000 from my account. 
Luckily nothing was charged to me as I didn’t have any payment connected. However my ad account is deactivated.
I hope for everyone’s recovery. IT IS POSSIBLE!!

The EU form won’t work now for me. An error always appears. It always work in the past days. Now it is always an error.
This isn’t fair I’ve done that form like 50 times
Guess am the only one who actually lives in EU and can not submit that form , shows cannot process , try later … so sick of this 
It’s a shame this is a known FB issue and they are not addressing it and not communicating with users. I’ve been unable to download my data, it sends me in a circle. My personal Facebook & business instagram with 90K followers are suspended & I have no way to sign in to the fake insta account that broke insta rules & they think is me. This garbage has financially devastated my small business. I could legit lose my home. I depend upon my business, it’s my livelihood. And Meta does NOTHING to help business customers! I buy FB & insta ads. I sincerely hope Zuck & that pig nose Adam Mosseri have something utterly devastating happen in their lives. Greedy MFers.

I just became a victim of this random account suspension. My FB account is 15 years old. I have 2FA with auth app. There is no hacking in my scenario. I can only guess they want to see my face because I never upload a photo of myself to FB. So their stupid scam detection software must have flagged my account as a scammer account but I never scam anyone. No scammers would want to wait 15 years before scamming someone. I’ll just leave it as is. No more FB. I’ll let their community become full of fake accounts and scammers as they kick out real users.
Is anyone getting any success actually being able to submit it after the captcha in the past 2 days? I keep getting the can’t process at this time pop up after every time. No matter what time I try.
I couldn’t send a form anymore. 
Does this form work for locked accounts? Why has nobody found a way to get back locked accounts. Everytime i send the id for verification they say it’s not clear or doesn’t match with the account details which is not true.

I’ve been filling the form out over and over again via EU VPN and unfortunately have been getting the “We are unable to provide access based on the information provided in the report.” every time, faster and faster, the last couple of times they’ve shown up in under an hour.
Hi, I made a Reddit user profile for the first time in my life just to thank the person posting the EU-link (I live in the EU). After having tried all the other methods AND contacting Meta employees on Linkedin (had some shared contacts to help me) - btw the employees said it was almost impossible to get it back - I got my account back the same day I used the EU Link and verified myself recording a verification video. THANKS!

Since you’re not from the US, how did you tell them about the lawsuit? Did you threaten to take them to court in your country, or to take them to an American court?
I’m asking because since I’m neither from the US nor the EU, it would be really helpful to know what “threats” motivate them better to help us.
Which browser did you use? I’ve used Opera with the built in VPN set to Paris and I still get rejected.
