Hardware vpn device for remote access

We support a bunch of remote customers with a ton of iot (rich people houses), we often have no choice for static ip, or even to get a real IP (looking at you starlink).

Are there any services that you know of that allow a mix of both hardware vpn devices, as well as mobile device support (ios etc)

Here is basically the problem, I need a mobile app to connect to a device in a remote network, but that remote network can only make outgoing connections.

Something like himachi with support for hardware vpn boxes, I’m fine paying for the service.

We use something called Tosibox for this exact application where we have networks/computers/devices in literally nowhere that we need access too.

It’s super easy, would recommend looking into it.

Why not use DynDNS for static IPs? Could be installed on ISP routers in most cases.

Remote.it has a service like this. I’ve never used it, but it’s there. You can find more information by Binging ‘bypass CGNAT’.

We run two site to site VPN’s over Starlinks- they work just fine using dynamic IP’s as the source on our on-prem fw (Watchguard). The only quirk is each Starlink has to connect to a different IP on the WG. Both have been working good for at least a year.

Starlink and others use carrier grade nat, you don’t get a real routable address.
