Every time I do a google search I get hit with this, is there any way to stop seeing this every time?

Every time I do a google search I get hit with this, is there any way to stop seeing this every time?

I changed my search engine and it fixed the issue.
Using DuckDuckGo now

Just Google doing Google stuff because they now can’t track you - due to you having the sheer audacity to use a VPN. :stuck_out_tongue:

Move your default seacrh engine over to DuckDuckGo.

Much the same result without the tracking and enforced barrage of Capcha nonsense.

You will be getting that. You can try varying your connection server to see if you get less. Try Startpage for the same-ish results as Google, but with privacy. (Less robo-checks, too!)

Duckduckgo all the way man.

Works like a charm… F google

i set up my own meta search engine(SearXNG) on a cloud server.

I set up a split tunnel so my browser doesn’t go over the VPN. But then of course web browsing is not private.

This is a Google thing and happens with almost every popular VPN. It is just as bad on SurfShark as on PIA.

This has been a long term problem with PIA. Hackers and spammers abuse their VPN so those IPs get blacklisted. Some of them aren’t blacklisted, so this is intermittent for me.

I set myself to be persistently connected to the node closest to my usual location and it’s stopped

Yeah, stop using Google. They’re mad they can’t identify you and sell all your info to the highest and lowest bidders. Switch to DuckDuckGo or something else.

For the lazy - https://searx.space/

well because they see the traffic is coming from a datacenter (where I imagine a lot of scrapers also reside) which is kind of suspicious. you probably should switch your search engien to a searX instance or DDG

I haven’t seen one of those since I started paying extra for the Private IP feature a few years ago. I’m not necessarily recommending that you pay extra for the feature but it’s worked well for me most of the time.

Use Bing, punish the Google

Choose Rhode Island.

Do you access the internet through a Pi Hole, by any chance?

I’ve been getting “suspicious traffic” warnings from a few websites (and was blocked from accessing them) whenever my Pi Hole setup was active. When I disengaged it and let only the router do the DNS resolving, the problem was gone.

It looks like the IP you currently have has been abused or spammed quite a lot of times, triggering the Captcha page.

Its because PIA recycles the IP addresses too much

try a different browser

try a different search engine (as someone mentioned)
