After enabling App Tracker Protection last night and seeing it work, I decided to apply it to gmail and Chrome. They seemed to function alright. This morning, neither Google Play nor the Samsung Store had internet access. I first removed the blocking from those apps - didn’t fix the problem even after a reboot. Completely disabled the tracking protection and rebooted. No help. Further investigation revealed that duckduckgo was the only app or browser that could access the internet whether via wifi or mobile data. I can still make and receive phone calls an presumably text messages. How do I fix this without resetting my phone to factory settings?
I’d check VPN setting of “block conections without VPN” for duckduckgo VPN piece. It should be turned off
