I have a 14 hour layover in Shanghai Pudong and want to distract myself with my phone and apps that are banned in China. Does anyone have any experience with express vpn there?
If not, do you have one you can recommend that works?

ExpressVPN is working every now and then; don’t bet on stability or service. I have been using with great success ValeVPN and Astrill. 
Tried Express in April - didn’t work at all. Astrill worked fine
Astrill works. In Chengdu now and have been using it. I have mullvad for back home security and that worked here as well but was recommended Astrill by a Chinese friend before coming. Stuck with it since.
When it comes to Express in China there’s only one thing you need to keep in mind:

Going to China soon. I am using ExpressVPN. However, since the general view here is that ExpressVPN will probably not work over there, I can thinking of installing Astrill plus one other back up VPN as well. Thus, can anyone recommend a suitable back up?

Hows the reliability? I’ve seen a few problems with drop outs. I want to use Astrill, but it’s a bit too expensive for me.
Express vpn had been useless over my last two weeks here. I’m using Veee (a tio from a Beijing resident) for the last few days and most things work.
It only allows you to connect to two devices at the same time, right?
I’m not sure about that. I’ve only been using it on one device so far. I’ll see if I can try connecting another device later.
