my internet cnx isn’t that great to begin with. but i’ve been using Cloudflare warp as a vpn to bypass some limitation set by my isp mainly throttling p2p type of connections and such. its been helping me a lot with my work until 3 months the speeds dropped dramatically when warp is on its unbearably slow (0.5-0.6 mbps down and 0.7-0.8 mbps up) https://www.speedtest.net/result/13385663950 my friend has the same isp and warp is still working fine for him … and i tried every solution i could thing reinstalling, flush dns and network tunnels,etc
If your ISP has a usage cap it sounds like you might have exceeded it. Otherwise if you get the same poor performance without WARP complain to your ISP.
I was using cloudflare dns at with my home internet. It slowed it down so much it was unusable. I though it was the internet itself, but when I removed it from my router. I got normal speeds now, and now it is responsive and doesn’t take 10 minutes to watch a movie on hbomax, netflix or hulu.
And now no buffering, wtf cloudflare?
can you try on other isp? they probably slow your connection down to cf
thanks for the reply… but thats the thing i dont get the same poor performance with warp turned off… only in p2p connections i think it was intentional from my isp to throttle it i wish i could switch to another isp but its almost impossibly expensive (pay 2000 $ on cabling alone) the only solution if i move out to a more feasible location but at the moment i can’t
