Chinese local ink Ostrich ink

I’m studying in China so can easily buy chinese local pens and inks on Taobao. Few days ago I found Chinese ink manufacture Ostrich( in Chinese 鸵鸟) release some color inks and shimmering inks. This is one of the new color inks, fallen cherry blossom.

Thanks for sharing. I live in China as well and the plethora of cheap inks in China are mind boggling

This is my favorite color I definitely need to buy ink like that!

Does anyone know any ink that is similar to this one?

That ink and pen colour is just perfect.

This is a nice color, is there a similar ink to this since this ink would likely not be available to me?

looks like Black Swan in Australian Roses when the bottle isn’t mixed enough, but more pure.

It’s surprising to me that they are still in business and pushing this many new inks out  My memory of them is still in primary school when all the teachers use a Hero pen filled with Ostrich red to mark our assignments

Nice, keep us updated if you find more! Maybe they’ll start selling on eBay and Amazon too if there’s international interest.

Is Reddit currently censored by the Great Firewall? Just curious

How far back was it when you were in primary school? I thought everyone used Hero inks with Hero pens. Have a new idea of what ink to buy for my mum to complement the Hero pen I bought her…

Nope, it’s as open as the sky.

But it does load faster if you use VPN.

I started primary school in 2003. In some grade between 2 to 4 the chinese class required all characters to be written in “pen”, gel pens were completely fine, but ballpoints were exclusively prohibited (unless you are one of the girls with neat handwriting and use a fine point…then the teacher doesnt care all that much)
