Hi everybody,
what I’m trying to do is deploy, using intune, the preconfigured checkpoint vpn program, so that there are already 2 sites to connect to, thus avoiding that the user has to enter them manually. So far I’ve managed to create a custom trac.config file with the 2 configured sites inside. Now what I’m missing is figuring out how to create a package to upload to intune that also includes this configuration file when installing checkpoint vpn. Anyone know how to help me? or has he done something similar before?
What I’m trying to do is just this: https://community.checkpoint.com/t5/Endpoint/Deploy-Checkpoint-VPN-with-preconfigured-sites-on-MACOS/m-p/164126#
but the guide doesn’t help me too much
This is by no stretch of the imagination - the hardest part of the whole process. I helped you in the previous post you made. No idea if my info is what got you to the point of adding both sites, but nevertheless… It’s a bitch.
I suggest you simply package the installer and go to App > MacOS > Add > Web Link - until you figure out a script that works. It’s on my to-do list but I have not got around to it yet.
Suggest you start by looking at example scripts here: https://github.com/microsoft/shell-intune-samples
Then adjust.
Sorry for replying so late, I haven’t been able to access my account for a while… the sites you mean are not the same as I mean. By site of a vpn I mean an address for example vpn.microsoft.com to which I connect with certain credentials. Thanks for the reply
Hmm? My definition of a site is an endpoint to connect to.
VPN.company.com could be site 1.
VPN2.company.com could be site 2.
Mmh ok sorry I didn’t understand what you meant. So, the second part of your message is not clear to me. Should I package the installer and then upload it as a weblink? Sorry again for my mistake
