Are you on a cellular it satellite internet connection? A VPN? This can cause your traffic to look like it’s coming from the same household as dozens or even hundreds of people die to sharing the same IP address. I’m having no problems myself.

I am having this exact same issue! I can ask 1 question an hour using my Desktop but have no issues asking multiple questions using my phone. Not using a VPN.

Any progress on figuring it out?

Ohhhh, i have kept my 1.1.1.1 VPN enabled, that might be why. Thank you, will see if that works!

I have the same problem but my VPN isn’t on :confused:

(it does work on my phone though, however I am a slow typer on phone, so I would like if it worked on my desktop)

My issue was a vpn, are you sure you don’t have a custom DNS?

What kind of Internet service do you have on your desktop? Are you using the same Internet on your phone through WiFi? If you visit wimi.com on both your phone and your desktop, it should give you the same IP address if you have no VPN active.

I do occasionally use a VPN on the desktop, but its not running (even in the background) when using chatgtp. Haven’t used it in probably a week and doesn’t open at startup.

Any suggestions for what I should look for to figure this out?

It is the same internet (IP) my phone, desktop and laptop use, however it is only the desktop that I get the 1 message per hour with.

I can even use VPN on my laptop without any troubles, so I think it is just my dusty old desktop (it is windows 8.1 from 2013 (or 2014)) that runs into troubles with almost everything. (from browsers, like firefox not working, to games, visual bugs and intended interactions).

Edit: The only thing that I run into trouble with on laptop and phone is, that it just sometimes says:

An error occurred. If this issue persists please contact us through our help center at help.openai.com.

So I just usually just keep my chats at max 3 messages otherwise the AI just quits on me.

Edit2: It is also the middle of the night right now, so I’ll jump on my desktop to check if the wimi.com link gives the same result, if I remember to check when I wake up.
