Viscosity is the best in my opinion. Yes it’s like $14 but it works the best; good options; nice features.
Mullvad using Wireguard.
I used to use shimo, but it hasn’t got an update in what feels like a half decade, so I can’t recommend it anymore

I usually rent a cheap linux server, install Ubuntu and OpenVPN. Have been using it for many years. Cost me like 50 cents a month.
Oh! I should mention that if you need a VPN service with their own client app (for many platforms); paws down TunnelBear ( http://www.TunnelBear.com ). Is it the most private/cheap service? No. But they have frickin’ bears and the service works well enough. I believe you get a few GB of data every month and you can earn more with referrals/social media/salmon.

I’ve tried many VPNs and Turbo VPN works the best for me. it offers free trial and different versions based on the price you pay, nice for gaming and streaming.
I love viscosity… now if they only added Wireguard support!

Nord is a service. The question is for a client. Client is the program that connects to a service but most often private VPN servers.
