Sure you pay (more than) double, but you’d also get (more than) double the entertainment. And you’ll also be able to access Hulu & HBO Now. That’s not a bad deal IMHO, as long as it works.

Tried it again with the desktop app and the firefox extension and it doesn’t work. I guess I’m doing something seriously wrong or something

Can you access HBO just with a VPN? Don’t you need a cable subscription or something?

If you’ve subscribed with ‘WINDFLIX US’, then choose it as your default location.

HBO NOW is a paid streaming service just like Netflix/Hulu and you don’t need to be subscribed to cable. But it’s $15 a month. Unlike Netflix/Hulu, it works great with VPN. I tried it with ZenMate and TunnelBear last year, and NordVPN just yesterday.

HBO GO needs a cable subscription, basically a service so you don’t have to pay for HBO NOW if you already have HBO cable sub.
