It’s a bit odd as this malware is within XProtect’s database (macOS built in antivirus) so it should have been silently removed. It is possible that Malware Bytes is preventing the built in AV from doing its thing, or the malware has limited / disabled the built in XProtect / XProtect Remediator scans:
For Sequoia only > you can force xprotect to update via terminal by typing: sudo xprotect update
Ideally it comes back “No update applied, already up to date” but otherwise, indeed your built-in AV was not updated for whatever reason.
I would also run SilentKnight (it performs fully automated checking of macOS firmware and security systems ensuring it’s all updated) - if it finds anything not correct, you can press “install all updates.” I suggest this as some malware prevents the OS updating security: https://eclecticlight.co/lockrattler-systhist/ < it is the second listed product on this page.
Out of interest why are you asking how to remove it, does malwarebytes not do that? Is it failing?
You aren’t finding a free VPN. Use in-built Windows Defender and as system cleaner you can either use the again in-built windows clean feature or CCleaner.
I wouldn’t use CCleaner ever. It’s bloatware and if inexperienced user starts cleaning registry it can damage your system. Rather use built in cleanmgr in Windows.
For mobile usually your mobile has inbuilt antivirus, and apart from that you get play protect by Google. Among free alternatives you can check Dr. Web. Bitdefender free, Ahnlab free etc
