BBC iPlayer issues on PIA?

For the past week BBC’s iPlayer won’t load for me on UK London-Streaming server, and that appears to be the only one that would work for it. In fact, i can’t even visit BBC’s regular website when i’m on London-Streaming, so it’s like they’re blocked all access from that server.

Anyone having similar issues of know of any way around it?

I am facing the same problem. I disconnect and reconnect. It takes a little bit of time to find an IP that works. I use the VPN for downloading and stuff. So, download this thing called get_iplayer. And then you can run it to get the episodes downloaded from iPlayer or Sounds. I use that and then I upload it to my private cloud. So use your regular internet connection to get the PID (BBC.co.uk/programmes/********). The PID is the thing after programmes. And you can use get_iplayer to download it and then use it via local storage. Hope this helps! Please upvote if this solves your problem.

I have found that using Smart DNS proxy works best for BBC iPlayer in combination with VPN. Never any issues with having to switch VPN servers. It just works every time. Just make sure you setup the DNS server I.P.’s properly after you setup an account. There is a free trial for 7 days. Let me know if that works for you!

Since yesterday I’ve been unable to load the BBC iplayer…
I tried to delete cookies and tried with several IPs but with no luck…

I thought using a UK dns would help and it did in a way but having to clear cache settings, closing Web apps from ctrl alt del helps as well. Main concern is the speed test of the browser is around 20 plus and iplayer will spin pause, drop out then return.

i gave up and got a month sub to NordVPN, which works but doesn’t seem to work as good as PIA (had a tiny bit more buffering & losing server connections last night, which i rarely had with PIA). I think/hope PIA will fix it within the month.
