Hi all, Astrill works on my computer, but suddenly doesn’t want to work on my phone for some reason. Also, VIP servers are not shown on my phone, only on my computer. Any reason for that?
Anyone with similar experience? Anything I can try to do to fix it? It was working fine for a year, with the occassional outages for a few days max, but it’s been over a week and I still can’t use it on my phone, only on my computer. I tried disconnecting-reconnecting, choosing other servers, no luck.
Oh goodness… and that’s the vpn I was looking to purchase.
I’ve been having problems too. I end up spending 10-15 mins each day switching through different countries’ servers until I find one that works. It’s a pain.
Sometimes I have the same issue on my Mac, but much less.
Been having problems for the last week and speak to unhelpful support everyday. It’s been awful.
Why not ask support? Isn’t it their job to fix that problem instead of Reddit?
I switched modes from openbrowsing to the Stealth VPN and it works pretty good with server HK supercharged 2
I’m using Mullvad it’s working fine. Any xtom servers in San Jose or LA works extremely fast. 5 euros a month worth a try
The elephant in the room. Is it only acceptable for people to turn a blind eye to it? I mean the ‘web clearance’ policy.
It always works for me… Do you guys use wireguard?
Restart your phone. If that doesn’t work, delete and redownload the app.
Search the group. This has been posted a few times already.
The phone version is not as reliable than the windows one. It works around 90% of the time on the phone.

A few years back I asked the support guy if it matters what kind of phone I am using (any advantages or disadvantages), as I was thinking of buying a new one and he recommended I stick to Android, better for Astrill users.
Is that the only one I’ll need? Was planning to purchase 2 for phone 2 for pc laptop.
Hmm, got an Iphone, not sure I would want to replace it.
U can use the same subscription for phone and pc. Depending on what you do / hours long you stay, it doesn’t hurt to have a second one as backup. But astrill is not good value for money.
