Travelling to china in a week with 4 friends. All 4 of us are getting a let’s vpn account, but in case it crashes, we were planning ln getting a second ond for all of us( one that can handle 5 devices)
Which one would u suggest us between mullvad and astrill? Heard that both of them are pretty good, but also heard that astrill lately has been having some trouble and going Express’s way and not properly working anymore
Used mullvad and never had any issues. It’s only 5€ for 30 days

I’ve been using a VPN hosted on a raspberry at home, it worked perfectly for one month, never been blocked.
The speed depends of your home connexion, but ont not too expensive and very reliable
I have used Astrill for 16 days with eSIM Mobimatter 3 Hong Kong and it worked smooth from Guilin to Beijing.
isn’t it easier to just get a esim card from three.com? doesn’t that bypass the great fire wall?
I’m using surfshark and it works perfectly. Check even holafly, cause give you the possibility to buy an e-sim with vpn in the app.
I even heard Express VPN and Astrill.
If you have any problem check the DNS settings on your phone.
Astrill worked well enough for me. Had to change cities a few times, and also had to deactivate to use Alipay. Did what I needed it to do for the most part
