The only one I would trust is Proton VPN. Most free VPNs have terrible encryption and will actually compromise your privacy.
They have three locations, Netherlands, US, and Japan. At least when using OpenVPN.
Both. If you use the app they will assign a random server to you. You do have the option to reconnect and it might put you in a different location.
From the website you can download VPN configuration files for the locations and servers that are available with your plan, so by using it this way you have control over the location.
